Avery Cooper was born in Port Angeles, Washington. He is new to Wenatchee after spending most of his life in the Skagit Valley - home of the Tulip Festival. Avery has spent time at local radio stations in Idaho and Illinois as a reporter, radio show host, play-by-play man, and DJ. Most recently, he spent the last two summers as the voice of the Billings Mustangs - a member of the Pioneer Baseball League, which is a professional Major League Baseball partner league. As the son of a true outdoorsman, you'll find Avery's natural habitat is in the mountains. He enjoys skiing, hiking, backpacking, fishing, and anything you can think of relating to the great outdoors. Otherwise, he enjoys going to the gym, reading, cooking, and spending time with his friends and family. He is also a lifelong Mariners and Seahawks fan.
