
Bernie Fratto joined FOX Sports Radio in September 2018 to host the weekend edition of “Straight Outta Vegas” on Saturday nights, which was expanded to a four-hour program in 2021. Prior to his career in broadcasting, Fratto played baseball at Chapman University, along with future Major Leaguers Tim Flannery and Marty Castillo. He was signed with the Cincinnati Reds by famed scout Larry Barton, Jr., and was assigned to the California Winter Rookie League before a serious arm injury ended his career after only 27 games. Fratto is also an accomplished public speaker. His Ted Talk, "Everything I Needed to Know, I Learned in Little League," has been presented at the University of Michigan Ross Business School, Ford Motor Co., Motorola, Chambers of Commerce, Super Bowl events, The X's and O's of Success Lon Kruger Symposium and more, while receiving critical acclaim for his entertaining and informative messages: "Whatever success we aspire to have in this life, will be done within the framework of a team!" and "No one does it by themselves, even the Lone Ranger had Tonto!" A husband and father of two children, Fratto finds time to support Coaches vs. Cancer, and is an active advocate for Muscular Dystrophy Association in Michigan.
