The BNCW Home Tour is designed to take you on an in-person tour of beautiful homes around the Wenatchee Valley. The Tour spans over 3 days

Friday Sept. 16th Noon – 7PM

Douglas County Free Paint Disposal

Douglas County has partnered with PaintCare! Households can now recycle house paint, as well as primers, stains, sealers, and clear coatings such as shellac and varnish at four different locations in Douglas County year round:

  • Zacker Processing Center: East Wenatchee, MON & THU 2pm – 4pm

  • Rock Island Community Recycling Center in Rock Island, FRIDAY 8am – 1:30pm plus the Second and Fourth Thursday of  each month 8AM-11AM

  • Bridgeport Community Recycling Center: The first and third Thursday and Saturday each month 9am – 11am

  • Waterville Community Recycling Center: TUE & SAT 2pm – 4pm.

The 15th Annual George Bluegrass Festival

Friday SEPTEMBER 16 - Sunday SEPTEMBER 18

George, Washington’s FREE end-of-season Bluegrass Festival takes place at the George Community Hall. Its an annual FREE  festival featuring bands, artists & workshops. 

Friday BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL lineup (September 16th)

4 pm  – Heartbreak Pass (outdoor stage)

5 pm – Open Mic with Joe Fox and Harland Eastwood

7 pm – Home-made Pie & Ice Cream Social – front porch patio (Community Hall)
