SURPRISE! IT’S A MACKLEMORE

Thursday night’s Seattle Kraken game turned into a secret filming of a Macklemore music video, as KIMA reports. What made the event more special is that Macklemore’s young daughter, Sloane, was the music video director (Seattle Refined).

Macklemore has been busy lately playing golf in Pebble Beach alongside celebrities like Jason Bateman, Eric Church, and Bill Murray, so Kraken fans were shocked when two of the Zamboni ice rink cleaners rolled out during intermission and there was Grammy-winner Macklemore sitting on top of one of them.

Halftime at This Seattle Kraken Game Was LIT!

For the secret surprise music video, Macklemore wore a Seattle Kraken jersey, held a mic in his hand, and hyped the crowd as he sang lyrics to his new song, Ben. Ben has a national release date of March 3rd and heads out for a European tour beginning this April.

HEADS UP: Seattle Kraken’s Kids Takeover Day is on February 26th (during the Kraken vs Toronto Maple Leafs game). The first 5,000 kids in the game will get a free Kraken Team Rubik’s Cube.
